Great Impression

This is how I feel today. I have had a sore throat since Saturday night. I'm giving it until Wednesday and then I better go have it checked out I guess.

This image is from Great Impression...this little mouse is too cute wrapped up in his quilt with soup and tissue..lol

I used my photo corner punch to add some green touches around the card.

I colored with Prismacolor markers and Bic markers. Paper was from my stash. I made this color combination so it would work for male or female.

Until next time..tata...

Rubber Romance

Check out the bling on this chicky...lol. I paper pieced her dress with the same pattern paper as on the card. The paper comes from TAC. Used Prismacolor markers to color her in and added the pink rhinestones. Not sure if this is a practical card to send in the mail, since it would be too bulky, but you could add it to a present.

The inside of the card says "Your getting bitter, I mean better" This is a card that I did for the boutique where I sell my cards.

help that I decided to rearrange my space again. I must have some I got a few new cards done today and will have pictures tomorrow for you. Time got away from me today. Didn'tOCD in me...I'm
constantly rearranging things in my room so it will be more functional. Doesn't work. I think the only way to make it work is to get rid of stuff....gasp.

Hope you had a fabulous day. It was nice and sunny here and the temps were much warmer. I almost hate to say it, but perhaps spring is here. Hope I didn't jinx it now.

Tata for now......

Two Bella's

Today you get two Bella cards. The first card uses a new Bella Fella that I got a couple of weeks ago. I ordered two fella's. Those are the only two that I own. I need to get a couple more. I lean towards girl cards and tend to forget about the men in my family. Something tells me that the guys would not like to receive flower cards from me..haha.

I colored my Bella Fella with Prismacolor markers and a few Bic markers that I just got at the office supply store. Similar to Sharpies, but they came in different colors that I didnt have already. Pattern paper came from my stash of scraps. Added some ribbon and four brads to the sentiment. Turned out pretty good..the colors all came together, which is something that always makes me happy.

The second card is one that I did for the boutique where I sell my cards. I paper pieced her jacket and pants with TAC pattern paper. I love this paper set. Plus the colors used in this paper pack are the same colors the owner of the boutique uses in her store. So she loves to get cards from me that use her colors.

The two felt flowers I cut with my Big Shot and a Cuttlebug die. Added black ribbon and "just because", which came from TAC also.

Until next time..................

Monkey Birthday

Ive had this new stamp for two weeks and I am just now getting to using it. Ive been swamped with swaps and other commitments lately. I'm finally done with everything and now maybe I can get back to making more cards and working on my scrapbooking.

I made this card to send to my nephew for his birthday. I think he will get a kick out of the monkeys.

Enjoy...tata for now....

Close To My Heart

Here is a card I did with one of my Close To My Heart sets. I did this for a swap that I'm in on one of my yahoo groups. This is a different style that I usually do, but I like it. I used TAC papers and I used my gold leaf pen to outline the block.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter. We went to brunch. So yummy, but I ate too much.

When I got home from brunch, I worked on cards all day long to take into the boutique this week. I also tried to finish up a scrapbook that I'm working on, but it was 9:00 and I was so tired of sitting there at my desk, so will have to finish it up tomorrow.

Until next time......

Stampin Up Easter

Yet another Stampin Up stamp I haven't used in awhile. Ive been trying to make some cards with stamps that hardly get used. Makes me wonder why I bought them in the first place.

I do like this cute set though and I'm happy I got it.

I seriously cant remember what I colored this with. I'm guessing Prismas, but I could of used Stampin Up markers....geez, my brain is getting so old. Problem is I made this card like two weeks ago.

I had a very productive day today. I got into a spring cleaning mode and cleaned my entire craft room. I had a pile that was huge of things I wanted to get rid of. Things I never use, old magazines that I have never looked at again, and things that I don't know why I ever bought.

It does feel good knowing that I cleared out a bunch of stuff. I need to keep reminding myself that I don't need to buy things just because they are the "in" product for that month.

Hope you all had a great day...been working on a few more cards to show you soon. I seem to have been neglecting you all lately..sorry.

House Mouse

I haven't used this stamp in ages. I was digging through my House Mouse container the other day and stumbled onto this image. I'm not sure why I don't use it very much cause it is very cute.

I did this card for a House Mouse yahoo group that I am a member of. Each month you send a card to two people that are assigned to you. you also send two of the images that you used on your card. Its pretty cool..this is the first time Ive done this.

I used one of my newest embossing folders if you can see it. I also added a felt flower that I made with my Big Shot and a CuttlebugCuttlebug die. I colored with Prismacolor markers.

Enjoy and until later...tata......

Busy Busy

Well, I have been so busy that I haven't had time to even upload a new card to show you. I'm finishing up a scrapbook for a friend and then I must make my cards to sell at the local boutique and then after all that, I have four baby scrapbooks to make...yikes.

Anyway, I sent this cute card to a lady in my book club who was ill. She is better now, so that is awesome. They thought she had a stroke, but it was Balls Palsy....I really have no idea what this is, but I'm just happy she is better now.

She told me when she got this card in the mail she thought it was very cute and was happy that I had thought of her. I'm glad it brightened her day.

Nothing too exciting going on in my neck of the woods...just trying to get all this stuff done and on top of all that, getting my swap commitments filled. When it rains it pours. Actually I will take rain over snow these days. It was so nice out today...I think it made it to 50 degrees. They say tomorrow will be cooler, but the snow they predicted, is moving south..thank goodness.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Bella Birthday

I recently did a bunch of cards to take to the local boutique where I sell my cards and this was one of them. I paper pieced the dress and balloons with the same background paper. The paper is from TAC. I love this bright fun paper. Added some sheer ribbon at the top and some flowers under my sentiment.

Ive been busy working on scrapbooks these past few days. I have two scrapbooks to complete for two of my friends. One is almost done, so then I can start the other one.

I also need to start thinking about making more cards to sell and some cards to show the ladies at my stamp group at church. We need to make some new cards to sell at our stamp sell in November.

Hope you are in a state that didn't get hit with snow over the weekend. We got flurries today, but that was about it. Where oh where is spring????

Hanna-Perfect Package

First of all I want to thank Pam for all of your wonderful input on my fella card. I think your ideas are cool. Sometimes I love to see or hear how other people do the same card, but way different than the one I did. Guess that's why we all learn so much from each other.

I just got this new set, well, new to me...this last week. When it first came out, I was not really interested in it. But, looking at the set on the website, I knew it had many possibilities.

The decorative paper with the bows on it, I did myself. I paper pieced the package that Hanna is wrapping. The other two packages I just stamped on the decorative papers and cut them out and mounted with a pop up. Found the ribbon in one of my kits that came in the mail last month.

I figure I will use this as a birthday card. I have another set that I got, but haven't made a card out of it yet. I tried to paper piece the umbrella in this set and I really messed it up..haha. Might have to try again.

Enjoy and more later......

Bella Fella

This is another image I got from an image swap I participated in. I have no bellafellas, so I was happy to get some in this swap. I did order a few today, so hopefully they wont take too long to get here.

Paper was from my scrap stash. I colored with Copics and Prismacolor markers. I might of used a sharpie here or there.

The sentiment "Happy Birthday" is from TAC.

Pretty simple card to make. I don't like to add a bunch of "stuff" when doing a guy card. Although, sometimes, they are very plain, which makes me nuts, but I know most guys don't like all that "stuff" on their cards.

More later......

Good Luck Bella

Not long ago, I did an image exchange with a friend and got this image from her....I do not have this stamp, but I think I need to add it to my wish list. I colored with Prismacolor markers and sharpies. The clovers on the right side of the card are an image from TAC...I stamped them onto green cardstock and then cut them out. I think it added to the card.

All in all, she turned out pretty cool...I will need to send this on to someone now.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today....more later....

From The Gang

I found this stamp set while I was going through all of my stuff the other day. I'm not even sure I have used it before. Isn't that terrible? I think its time to go through my things and see what I havent used lately or ever.

Colored with Copic markers. I bought a few of these Copic markers at Hobby Lobby to see what the buzz is all about these.

The flowers I made with felt and my Big Shot. Ribbon was from my stash of stuff. Actually the ribbon was an after thought cause I did a boo boo and needed to cover it up..haha.

Oh, from now on I will need to approve comments. I hate to have to add this to my blog, but someone added a comment to my Bella cupcake card and my computer did something kinda strange...so, I guess I will have to approve comments from now on.

Until next time...tata...

Bella Birthday

I love this Bella stamp..although I don't own this, but I got it from an image swap that I was in. I think I'm

I colored her with my Prismacolor and Copic markers. The frosting has stickles on the top. Ribbon on the side and two flowers from my stash.

I don't use yellow very much on my cards, so I was happy how this one turned out.

I made several cards today, so I will have more to share with you...stay tuned......
going to order this next time I order some Bella's.
