Easter Card

Here is a cute little card I did last week. The image is by D.R.S. Designs.

I colored the image with my Prismacolor markers and used some fun flock for her ears and tail.

I think I will use this card as a prototype for my Easter cards this year. Which I better get busy on since Easter is early this year.

Shop TIll You Drop

This picture didn't come out the best, but I think you can see it pretty good. I love this set from TAC...I think it can be used for many different cards. This one I made a "thanks" card. Seems I never have enough thank you and birthday cards. I colored with my Prismacolor markers and added some of my flowers on the side. Another pretty easy card to make.

I didn't get a chance to do anything creative today. I took my son to the eye doctor then met a girlfriend for coffee at Starbucks.

Its snowing here again. I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever stop. We are suppose to get 6-9 inches of snow by the time it over.

Hopefully tomorrow I can create some new cards. I do have lots that I have created in the last few days, but they are ones that you have seen before...just different colors or paper pierced.

Paper Piecing Card

Another card I did with my newest Rubber Romance stamp. This stamp was a part of a collage of sorts and I just cut her off of the collage part. Crazy I know, but I just wanted her. Figure I can always put the collage part on a card with her in the future if I want to.

I paper pieced her dress. I'm really beginning to like paper piecing. Although it does depend on the image. Some things I have tried are way too difficult to paper piece. For me anyway. I'm sure with practice I could do it, but for now, I will stick to the easy ones.

I colored her skin with a Sharpie marker. The flower at the bottom I cut with my punches. I really never use those punches enough. Time to dig them out again.

Paper is some from my stash and added some ribbon at the bottom and top. Pretty easy card to make once you get her all dressed.

Nothing too exciting going on here. Got some swaps done today and one is ready to be mailed out on Monday. Tomorrow I plan on starting some scrapbooks that I need to get done for two of my girlfriends. Pretty relaxed day.

New Rubber Romance

Finally a new card for you to enjoy. This is one of my newest Rubber Romance images. I paper pieced her dress. She has rhinestones on her bracelet, necklace, and earring. One box on the right is TAC and the other is a box from Hanna Stamps.

Pattern papers are from TAC.

I am finally done with my cards to take to the local boutique this week. Sentiments are all stamped, which I did today. I think Im gonna have to work on those through out the month instead of pushing myself to get them done in two days...crazy.

Once again its freezing here. With the wind chill, it is 9 below. I think I would rather have the snow than these freezing temps. Oh well, I think I see spring on the horizon...maybe.

Oh, the movie I mentioned yesterday, its No Reservations...not Reservations...my mind, I tell ya...lol

Busy, busy

I have been so busy the last week that I am going mad...lol

Ive been working hard on more cards to take into the boutique that I sell my cards. Its time again to take in what Ive got made so the owner can pick out what she wants. Im almost done. Just need to add the sentiments and thats it. I still need to take some pictures of the newest cards. In the meantime, you get a card that I know youve seen before, but its in another color..haha. I know, how boring, but its all I got right now.

This is a stamp set from Hanna Stamps. This would make a nice fall card with the colors I used. Looking at this now, I think I would of paper pieced her dress and some of those packages. Making a mental note to do that next time I get this set out.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. We missed getting a huge snow storm..whew. Its just been raining here all day and they say we could get an inch or two of snow. I will take that over the 10-13 inches they first said we were going to get.

Oh, if you havent seen Reservations..you must rent it...its such a cute movie. Even Kevin liked it. We watched it last night after we got home from church.

Ok, guess thats it for now...I should have new cards for you to see tomorrow.

Does anyone know why the spell check on Blogger doesnt work???? Its making me nuts.

On to my card.....

This cat image from Pink Cat Studio is one of my favorites...guess you can tell by how much I make a card out of it..huh? Sorry, I just cant help myself...love love love it.

I found this paper in my stash and really liked it, so thought I would use it with this image. I colored with Prismacolor markers and added stickles on her hat flower. She just looks so sophisticated.

The sentiment "thanks" is either from TAC or Stampin Up.

Today it snowed AGAIN...I dont remember having this much snow since I was a kid growing up. Its madness. Poor Kevin takes forever to get home when it snows. People around this area can be funny sometimes about driving. When it rains, they think they are driving on ice and drive soooo slow. First time it snows..oh geez, look out...they have forgotten how to drive in the snow since last winter...makes me crazy just being on the road with them.

Ok, that is my little rant of the day. I do have some new things to show you now that I can take a picture of my stuff...I had to print out some pictures so I could free up some space on my camera.

House Mouse

Here is the newest House Mouse that I got about two weeks ago. I love these little house mouse guys and gals. I used my Prismacolor markers to color in my image. Added some ribbon and a flower and there ya go. The paper was from my stash..I get a monthly kit from Memory Works so I always have nice paper on hand. Not to mention I was in a few other clubs for a year or more. That paper is slowly diminishing, so that is good. I had to stop my clubs since I had way too much paper.

Today I plan on playing with some of my QVC things I ordered when they had their craft fair on. My stuff all came to me yesterday...talk about fast shipping...I was amazed since my email gave me a delivery date of next week.

My oldest son is up at the high school right now taking his ACT test....I sure hope he does ok. He is one of those people that get a bit nervous when taking tests. He knows the answers, but gets stressed thinking he wont have enough time to get the test done if he comes to a question he doesn't know....Kevin and I both told him to answer what he knows and move on...come back to the ones he didn't know if he has time....I hope he follows that advice..but you know how teenagers are...lol

Tonight I'm going out with girlfriends....we are going back to Bullwinkles...cant wait.

Happy Heart Day

Here is a card that I made for my Nephew for Valentines Day. I know blue isnt usually used for a Valentine card, but I didnt want to make it "girly"...I dont think he would like that too much.

I colored my little mouse with my Prismacolor markers. I did punch out a little heart flower that matches the pattern paper. Probably should of put a heart on there or something...oh well, its on there now. I hope he wont really notice and if he does, I hope he doesnt care...Im pretty sure he will just love the money in the card..haha

I had a very productive day today. I was able to get all of my Christmas photos from 2006 and 2007 done. Im way behind and having those done makes me feel very good. This is the only card I was able to do today..I do have some things drying for more cards that I should be able to put together tomorrow.
