Another Hanna Card

I finally got this card to look half way decent when I took the picture. If it hadn't turned out again, I was gonna have to scan it.

I colored this with my Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits. I don't use this technique much since I never seem to get it right. I tend to like bolder colors and when I use the Prismacolor pencils, I don't see it as bold enough. Of course I need to practice with these pencils much more and then I might like it.

As you can see its another black and red card...really liking this color combination at this time.

I will try to get some more things posted in the next few days and then its off to Florida for me. A week in a condo on the beach....ahhh...I can hear those ocean waves now..hehe

Tata for now

Some Cards To Share

Finally I can add photos again. This is another Hanna Stamp set card that I did today. Hopefully you went to my webshots site to see the first one that I made. I will probably post it on here so if you didn't go see it, you still can. I colored everything with Prismacolor markers and the purses and hat box on the bottom I cut out and embossed with clear embossing powder so I could cut them out better. I added some stickles to the hearts and around the "But I need it..." but I'm not sure you can see it. Perhaps if you click on the picture and make it bigger it might show you.

My second card is Rubber Romance. I colored this with my Prismacolor pencils and used mineral spirits with my stumps. I haven't used this coloring technique for awhile cause I can never get it to look nice. But it turned out ok I suppose. I was lucky finding that big flower that matched the ribbon on the card. I happened to find it in my stash of flowers..perfect. The pattern paper I made myself and the sentiment is from Stamping Bella

The sentiment seemed to go perfect with this stamp set.

That's about it for tonight...I will try to get some more things done and posted tomorrow.

Until next time....

Tac Manly Card

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time coming up with "manly" cards. I'm not sure why exactly, but I just never have any good ideas when it comes to the men in my life. This is a set from TAC that I have had for awhile now and have only used once and that was to create a post it note holder for my son, which is loves.

I thought this one turned out pretty cool. I love the colors I used and the brads that I used on the top. I didn't even color the car..just left it black, which is kinda cool looking. Not usually my style, but it works for this card.

Today I didn't get a chance to create anything new. Took the Durango into the dealer to get an oil change and I find out that there is some maintenance updates that are due...uugg. Sooo, two hours and 700.00 dollars later, I finally got out of there. I have to take it back on Sunday and drop it off though so they can figure out why my keyless remote doesn't work. They used a new key and nothing. So now they think it has something to do with the computer...oh boy..this could get expensive. So, if its not covered under the warranty, I need to decide how important it is to be able to have a remote key or just use the key in the lock to open the door. Only bad thing would be losing the "panic" function..never know when that might come in handy.

Anyway, that's it for now...tata

Two For Today

Since I didn't give you anything yesterday, I will give ya two today..wow..what a bargain..snicker.

This first card is a new set that I got from CTMH (Close To My Heart) The sentiment is not CTMH. I used my decorative scissors on the decorative paper on the left. Added some ribbon on the side that I had in my stash and added a flower with brad at the bottom. Pretty simple card and easy to do.

Second card is a very simple one for me..sometimes, simple is good. Its easy to get a bunch done in no time. I did this for a sketch challenge. The image is Stampendous

Enjoy and more tomorrow..tata

House Mouse Teacup

I'm not sure if I posted this card or not, so if I did, please forgive me...I'm pretty sure I just posted it in my webshots gallery....these days I don't know if I'm coming or going. Which tomorrow I am going to visit my mom again. I made a weeks worth of meals for her and Raymond. I believe Raymond should be home by now. He was coming home either yesterday or today. I will just be gone for the day, but it will be late when I get home. So you probably wont get another post until Sunday.

On to my card. I love this stamp..it can be used for so many different occasions. It could be a "your my cup of tea" card, birthday, get well card with a tea bag enclosed...which is a great idea...I just thought of that..haha. Anyway, I used it as a thank you. I seem to always need thank you cards and birthday. I have a group of ladies in my bookclub at church that buy my cards each month. So I need to keep a nice inventory of cards for them.

I colored this little guy with my Prismacolor markers. The pattern paper is from a stack I got at Michaels. The sentiment "thank you" is in a flower punch and I added some sheer ribbon. For the bottom of the card I used my decorative scissors. I had to add the blue border at the bottom cause my cutting was sooo crooked...I cannot cut a straight line for nothing. Its really bad. I do better with regular scissors than those decorative ones...I don't get it.

If you would like to check out my webshots gallery, the link is on the right of my blog up at the top.

Enjoy and see you soon.

Im early today..hehe

Wow...I'm early today...I usually don't post to my blog until evening, but thought I would do it now while I'm thinking about it.

Yesterday I had a chance to play with my new Rubber Romance stamps that I got in the mail ages ago. I also did a House Mouse card. I'm hoping to be able to do some more cards today, but Ive got a busy day ahead of me, so who knows.

This image is Babs In Bath...I love this stamp. I need to add a sentiment of some sort, just haven't figured out what yet. I colored here with the Prismacolor markers. Added a nice pink sheer ribbon at the bottom and used Stickles on the bubbles.

Yesterday I tried to do some coloring with my other markers....Stampin Up and Tombo....I must say I really don't think they look as nice as the Prismacolor markers. I know lots of people can not justify spending so much money on a marker, but its worth it in my opinion. I have been building up my markers little by little. I order some one pay day and then some more when I can afford it. If any of you out there would like to know where I get them, you can go here: Dick Blick

On my next post, I will show you what I did as far as coloring with my other markers and let you see what I see. Now I did find that the Stampin Up markers looked ok on Kraft cardstock...its the white that I just don't like the look. You can always see the lines. So be watching for my examples.

Until next time...tata

Fall House Mouse Card

Since fall is in the air somewhere....not sure its here since it has been in the 80's, but thought I would do a fallish House Mouse card to maybe speed up the fall around here. The trees think its fall, so I wish the temps would cooperate..ha

Anyway, for this card I used Kraft paper for the stamped image. I colored with Prismacolor markers and SU markers.

The mouse are all colored with Prismacolor markers.

I added a leaf brad and stickles. Oh also used my ticket punch from SU

Sorry if the photo is not too sharp...I think I need a new camera..hmm...maybe I can get one for Christmas if Im a good girl....of course, Im always a good girl..haha

Enjoy and until next time..tata
