Late Night

Well, I just got done doing some cards about an hour ago...11:00 pm. I was so into getting them done that I didn't realize the time. Time flys when you are having fun they say..ha I have been working my sketches lately for cards. I tend to get in the same rut over and over. My cards seem to be all the same, so thought I needed to get those sketches out and try some new things.

This card features stamps from Pink Cat Studio

I love this cat image on the pillow. I used my Prismacolor markers-which I got new colo
rs delivered today in my mailbox-I tried to use colors that matched the cardstock I used. The cardstock is from Club Scrap.

The second card uses images from TAC

I cant remember the set name..swirly gigs maybe...I will have to look tomorrow..already in my jammies on my laptop, so not gonna go look now.

I stamped in green and then I used Crystal Lacquer, which I purchase on line at Stamps By Judith and stickles. The circle stamp and sentiment are also from TAC..will have to look up that set name too...you would think I would write these things down. I added a blue ribbon at the bottom and thats it. Again this card was based on a sketch.

Enjoy and I will be posting more new cards tomorrow night. Tata for now

Stamped Tonight

Well, I got to play with my stamps tonight. Lately I have been in the creative mood. There are times where I just have nothing. No creativeness, no nothing. Glad I have been creative these days. This first card uses Tac stamps. Its called "Pretty Posies" I totally cased this card...not the image, but the idea. I saw it on Splitcoast Stampers and just loved it. Hopefully that will take you right to the card that I just had to try out...lol.

I colored the flower with Prismacolor markers, the sentiment is one that I picked up from Hobby Lobby, the background pattern paper I stamped with a stamp that is in the Pretty Posies set, and then added a flower to the card.

The second card is a House Mouse card. I just love these little guys. Especially the strawberry card...its fitting for summer. I colored these guys with Prismacolor Pencils and then blended with the blender pencil. The color is much brighter. For some reason my camera washed it out. The strawberry on the side is one that I got at Hobby Lobby. I colored it with the pencils and then pop dotted it to add some dimension.

Thats it for tonight...more tomorrow.

Tata for now.....

Pink Cat Studio Creations

First I have had these coasters that I have done nothing with. I cant even tell you how many I have...hundreds. Well, Im finally getting something done with them. This coaster box is going to hold different tea bags with lots of yummies to go with it. Im making these for our stamp sale at my church. I hope they sell. I think in some of the boxes I will do hot cocoa mix and goodies.

All stamps are Pink Cat Studio

I colored my images with Prismacolor Markers and added a flower with a big brad in the center.

I will show you some more cards tomorrow....I have everything uploaded on my webshots gallery in case you just cant wait..ha

Tata for now......

Bella Cards

These are two of the Bella cards that I made yesterday. I colored these both with my Prisma colored pencils with the mineral spirits, and I must say, I dont like them when I look at them. I think the Prismacolor markers are soo much better. They are smoother. Maybe I dont know how to blend them right, who knows, but I think my favorite are the markers.

I like how the colors all came together on this card. It doesnt show too well, but the ribbon is orange. The bottom has tiny prisma flowers attached.

This second card all came together with the papers and the colors. The "bling-bling" has stickles on it. Not sure if you can really see it very well. Her ring also has stickles. Added one of the flowers that I ordered off of QVC when they had their scrapbooking shows on. The flower set came with like 600 flowers..guess I wont be needing anymore soon...ha.

Oh, I finally got some more Prismacolor markers ordered today. I hope they hurry to my house. It will be awesome to have some new colors. Ive been feeling so restricted with my colors.

I was gonna post pictures of my craft room on my blog, but if you want to check it out, you can click on my webshots link up at the top of my blog to the right and that will take you right there.

You probably wont get to see a new card tomorrow...I will be gone for the day. But I will upload two more cards for you on Sunday.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend...see you soon

Great Creating Day

Well, I had a great day creating lots more cards. I do need to get them scanned in, which I will do tomorrow.

This is a card I did yesterday. Its from the "Tickled Pink" set from TAC. I have noo idea what possessed me to use this crazy ribbon on the sides of the card, but I guess it worked ok. I really liked the color of the background paper so I was trying to find something that matched, and I came across that ribbon. I colored the flamingo with my Prismacolor markers and I used Prima flowers on the ribbon and again on the oval around the bottom. I think this is one that will have to grow on me. That ribbon Im not too sure about. Seems there tend to be days where Im not sure why I do what I did to a card and yesterday was one of them..ha.

I do notice that my scanner must need to be cleaned since there are no smudges on the actual card...better do that tomorrow.

See ya tomorrow.....

Newest Creations

Well, today was a productive day for me. I got my craft room all cleaned up and even took pictures. I will upload then onto my blog tomorrow. I managed to get four cards done and scanned in too.

Before all the fun stuff, I helped my youngest go through all of his stuff in his room and we really cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more. We have two boxes to take to the rummage sale that our church holds twice a year. Ive never seen his room so clean. I should take a picture..ha.

This first card is an image from Rubber Romance which I purchased from Eclectic Paperie

She needs a sentiment to go with her, but I really couldnt figure out what to use. So I left it blank for now. Colored with Prismacolor markers.

The second card is from the new Tac catty. Its called "Tickled Pink" Its a really fun set. I colored most of the image with Prismacolor markers, but had to use a few Sharpies since I didnt have the colors I wanted in the Prismacolor markers. I added a white fiber at the bottom of the card and then glued on some flowers.

See you next time...tata

This is all I got

Well, this is an atc that I did for a swap..its the only thing I got right now that is new that I haven't posted here. I need to get some creating done this week. Yesterday I got the idea of painting my studio a different color...AGAIN. Why oh why do I put myself through this? I have nooo idea. I was only going to paint two walls and then go lay in the pool for awhile and then come in the studio and do something creative...well, once I got started I kept going until I finished the whole room. Finished up about 9:00 pm last night. But, its done and now I can finish putting everything back and then I will take some pics to show you all.

You cant really tell from the scan but the trees all have stickles on them and the frame around the trees is done in gold leaf pen. I added white fiber to the bottom to look like snow. The trees and stars were colored with my Prismacolor markers. Enjoy and until next time..tata

Swaps That Are Done

I'm soo happy that I got three swaps done that I have signed up for. Hope any of you reading this are not in some of these, or your gonna know what mine looks like...lol.

The first card is for Midwest Stampers. Theme is pink and brown. I used a TAC set, but not sure of the name and I'm too lazy to go look since I'm on my laptop in my bed...so will update that later.

This second image is a decorated envelope for another swap on Midwest Stampers. I have never done one of these so I wasn't too sure how it would turn out. I think its kinda bold and I think next time around, I might tone it down a bit. All stamps are from Club Scrap.

I have another swap finished for the atc swap on A Shade Of Blue, but I will save that for tomorrow or Saturday.

Enjoy and until next time...tata...

Got To Play Today

Well, I got to play with some of my new Pink Cat Studio images. I just got them in the mail last week. Today I got all my new stamps mounted and they are all ready to be inked for some creating.

This first card I distressed the edges on the card and the image. I used crystal lacquer for the inside of the glasses. Doesn't really show much in the scan, but in real, it looks like there is really liquid in the glass. Colored with my Prismacolor markers. Last I added some flowers with a brad in the center.

The second card that I did today was with the "hearts" set. Colored with Prismacolor markers, which I love by the way, but I need more colors. I'm so limited with the colors I have. The pattern paper was in my stash of scraps, so not sure who even makes it or where it came from. The sentiment is from TAC and I finished it off with a red heart brad.

I had another card almost finished but I just didn't like the way it was turning out. So, I scrapped it and I will work on it again tomorrow. Its also from the "beach" set. Anyway, enjoy and hopefully I will have some more time tomorrow to finish up the card I scrapped and create some new ones in the process.

Until next time...tata.....

New Card

Here is a Pink Cat Studio card I did. I believe this image is from the Garden Set. I colored with Prismacolor markers and then used diamond stickles on the flowers. I also used some bling on the circles on the main flower image. They are those little diamond stickies...I have no idea what they are called. I added some pop dots to make the main image stand out on the card. Next I used two different fibers, put them together and tied them around the sides. Sentiment is from TAC and the paper is from the slab that I got at Michaels.

Guess that's it for now. I'm hoping to get some new cards done and scanned in today. I have three new sets from Pink Cat Studio that I need to get cushion on and then I can play. I also received my order from Rubber Romance....so I need to get cushion on those too....so many new toys to play with.

until next time.......

All Star Birthday

Here is a card that uses TAC stamps. I believe the set is called All Stars, but not sure...bad bad me. I colored the image with my prismacolor markers and used my scallop punch for the squares. Pretty basic design. I used my big shot to make the embossed stars at the bottom of the card. This card will be great for my nephew. He is into all kinds of sports.

Thats it for now...I gotta get busy over here.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Pink Cat Studio Card

Another card by one of my favorite stamp companies....Pink Cat Studio. I just love these cats...although Im really a dog person, but these cats are too cute.

Image is colored with Prismacolor markers and I added some fibers to the bottom. Pattern paper is from a slab that I got from Target. Sentiment is TAC.

Today was girlfriend day. We met for coffee and then went to lunch. We also went to this store next door that is called "Funky Monkey". They have some really cool clothes in there. Each time I go into that store, I cant help but buy something. The camouflage pants I bought today will make my teenagers just cringe..haha. I also got a shirt today that says "Cute But Physco" too funny. I ant remember what the image is on the front of the shirt and Im not gonna get up to look in my closet, so I guess I will share that next time I think about it.

I didnt get any creating done today. Got home from girlfriend day and errands and sat down to catch up on all my recordings of General Hospital...one of my many obsessions.

Until next time....tata

Stormy Monday

Today was a great day to spend inside my craft studio and play catch up. I am behind on some sketch challenges for one of my yahoo groups, so I got four of those done today and I got four or five cards done also. This is one of the sketch challenges that I needed to get done. I actually like how this one turned out. I need to remember these sketches when Im doing new cards. Pretty basic on the instructions. The ladybug was bought at Hobby Lobby. I used two of my square punches and colored them with Prismacolor markers. I did the faux stitching around the boxes with my gellyroll white pen. The "happy b-day" is TAC and I stamped that into a round circle. The colors of the cardstock I used...red and black. Thats it. Pretty easy.

This second card is TAC...I believe the stamp set is called "Pretty Posies" but dont quote me on that one. The sentiment is also TAC. I colored the posies with my Prismacolor markers again. I really love those things. I used black, pink, and green cardstock. The pattern paper is something I picked up at Target one day. It comes in a slab and has the adhesive on it already. The notches on the green cardstock are from a punch I got through SU....and the flowers are just some I had in my stash held together with a big white brad. Oh, I did add some green ribbon on the side.

Until next time...tata

Lazy Day

This card is done with Pink Cat Studio stamps. I love this set along with the dog one that I have from Pink Cat Studio. I colored the cat with the Prismacolor markers. The cats shirt however was colored with Tombo markers since I dont have orange in the Prismacolor markers. The purple cardstock is from Club Scrap and the pattern paper is another one from Michaels slab. As soon as I get some more play money, Im gonna order some more of the Prismacolor Markers. I am limited to my colors and need more of a variety.

Today was a nice lazy day. I went to church this morning, came home and hubby and I checked out a campground that we are going to next weekend and then came home and went in the pool. It was so hot here today. I believe the temp was 95 or higher. The pool made it feel much cooler outside. The sunburn is pretty much gone now, so I can tan on my backside again. Sure looks funny when you are only tan on one side..haha.

We didnt go walking tonight since it was so hot outside. We did play pool with the boys though, so does that count as exercise? I think it does.

I still have some TAC sets that are brand spankin new that I havent even done anything with yet. Maybe I will get to that this week sometime. I placed an order from the new catty and Im hoping they come this week sometime. Im gonna have way too many stamps to play with...cant wait.

Anyway, thats it for now. Until next time.....

Bella Atc

Here is a Bella atc for a swap that I joined..hope none of you are in the swap....lol

I just placed an order today for more Bella's. Cant wait to get them. I also bought some things from Pink Cat Studio and some stamps from Electric Paperie....http://www.eclecticpaperie.com/index.html

I ordered some of the Rubber Romance stamps..I love these stamps and have been waiting to order some. Cant wait until all my goodies arrive and I can play with everything.

Of course now that I spent a lot of money today, I read over on Splitcoast Stampers about a store that has cheap, cheap scrapbook supplies. Sigh. No more money to spend for a couple of weeks now, so all that cheap stuff is gonna have to wait.

It was very hot here today....95 degrees. I know some of you are experiencing temps of 100 or more..I feel for you. I spent the day inside doing a scrapbook that I needed to get done for a lady at my church. Im so relieved it is done. Now maybe I can scrapbook my millions of photos that need to get done.

Anyway, thats it for now....until next time...tata

On a roll now

Ok, I think I am back into the swing of things now. Of course I do have cards done and scanned in..that always helps. Today I lounged in the pool and managed to get myself sunburned...ouch. I have been tanning the front of my body since I started getting in the pool in May. My float that I like to use was uncomfortable to lay on my stomach....so I bought a new one and tried it out today....well, I layed on my stomach and got my backside burned....oh well, Im sure it will be tan in a few days. Sure does hurt though.

Im also printing out all my photos that Ive had on my camera forever. I am doing that as I update my blog. I hope I get them all printed before my cartridge runs out of ink.

One more bit of information about my weight journey before I get to my cards. Im down 63 pounds, but I have not weighed in for two weeks because of traveling. So, it could be scary tomorrow at weigh in. I have also started walking after dinner each night. Hubby and I walk anywhere from one mile to three miles a night. Im hoping that will help with the junk I ate while out of town.

Ok, on to my cards......this one is also Pink Cat Studio...the sentiment is one that I picked up at Hobby Lobby last time I was there. I used background paper from a Michaels slab. Everything else is pretty easy..used my scallop punch for the flowers and the sentiment. I did ink the edges to make them stand out a bit more.

Ok, this one is another Pink Cat Studio card. Both images are mounted on scallop punches. Background paper was run through my Big Shot with an embossing folder. Both images on cards were
colored with my Prismacolor markers. Thats it for now....I hope to have another post for you tomorrow night. Until next time.......

Im Still Alive

I know, its been forever since I have given you a new card. I have been enjoying the lazy days of summer. Plus Ive been busy..haha.

Today is the first day in weeks that I have gotten to create something new. I will give you two cards that I did today. This first card uses stamps from "Pink Cat Studio" http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/

I have ordered quite a few of these sets and I love them. I dont know why I dont use them more. I used my big shot embossing folder to do the red mat. Coloring is done with my Prismacolor markers.

The second card is another "Pink Cat Studio" This one I also used Prismacolor markers and the background paper is some that I got at Michaels in one of those slabs. I also used white, pink, and purple fibers to tie at the side of the card. Thats it for today...I have more to show you tomorrow. I will try to be a better blogger...but dont hold your breath with summer here..hehe.

Until next time........
