No card, but a fun picture of us girls at the martini bar. We went out for Carla's birthday. Had a great time....was a bit pricey...ok, ALOT pricey, but we had a good time.
I will be posting more pictures to my digi blog and my webshots.
Left to right: Carla, Edie, Sonya, and Lori
I really need to create something new, but have had no creative mojo going these days. I think because of the wonderful summer weather, it makes it hard for me to sit in my studio and create. I would rather spend the day in my pool or in my sunroom reading my book. Tomorrow though, I do need to get into my studio and get some swaps done that are coming due soon. Plus I dont think Im getting into my pool since I got myself burned on Monday. I even had on SPF 30. I had a base tan already going, but I think I spent too much time in the water and didnt re-apply the sunscreen when I got back on my float to soak up the sun. Oh well, by Friday I will be good to go again.
In the meantime before I get something new done, I will post a card that I did for a sketch challenge. Its the same sketch, but a different take on the card. I really like the square card. Only problem is, I gotta either make an envelope if I want to send it or find one to use. I like the colors of this card. I used a big piece of square chipboard to stamp the sentiment on. The flower is colored with my Prismacolor markers...just love those things. I need to get some new colors. Im very limited to what I have. There are just too many things that I "gotta" have...ha.
Until next time....enjoy
This is a card I did yesterday, but its been drying. I took a picture of it instead of scanning because I used chipboard on it and the scanner hates anything that doesnt lay flat. This stamp is from Stampendous. I got it at Archivers. I used stickles on the ends of the flower, but you really cant see it in the picture. I added pop dots (is that what they are called?) to the flower to raise it up. I also added a Prima flower for the center and attached it with a heart brad.
Chipboard for the corners and the leaves were covered with cardstock and then I stamped a background image on them. The sentiment is from TAC.
Now to get some TAC cards done. I just ordered some new stamps....so much fun to get new toys. I will try to do some of those tomorrow. Until next time..enjoy.
